Privacy policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This notice explains how the personal data of visitors to giuliolarovereweddingmusic.com, and of anyone who contacts me, are processed, in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003).

Data controller

Giulio Larovere, Via Bartolomeo Eustachi 48, 20129 Milan (MI), Italy. Email: giulio.larovere@gmail.com.

What data I collect

  • Data you send me: by filling in the “Request a quote” form or by contacting me via email, WhatsApp or phone: name, email, phone number, date and location of the event, type of event, number of guests, preferred line-up and any information you choose to include in your message.
  • Browsing data: the systems that run the website automatically record some technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) needed for the website to work and to keep it secure.
  • Statistics: only if you accept them in the cookie banner, the website uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate form, how it is used (pages visited, traffic source, device).

Please do not include unnecessary information in the form, in particular health data or other special categories of data.

Why I process your data and on what legal basis

  • Replying to your requests and sending you a quote: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Managing any contract for the music service and the related administrative and tax obligations: performance of a contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Website security and prevention of abuse and spam: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Visitor statistics (Google Analytics): your consent, given through the cookie banner and revocable at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Providing the data marked as required in the form is necessary for me to reply; without it I cannot follow up on your request. I do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling.

How long I keep your data

  • Quote requests that do not lead to a contract: up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
  • Data relating to a contract: for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the period required by law for administrative and tax purposes (normally 10 years).
  • Google Analytics data: according to the retention period set in the account (14 months).

Who may process your data

Your data is handled by me personally and is never sold or published. It may be processed on my behalf, as data processors, by the providers of the services I use to run the website and communicate:

  • Automattic Inc. / WordPress.com – website hosting, technical statistics (Jetpack) and spam protection;
  • Google – email (Gmail) and, only with your consent, Google Analytics;
  • WhatsApp (Meta) – only if you choose to contact me via WhatsApp.

Where your event requires it, strictly necessary details (date, location, timings) may be shared with the musicians and technicians working on your event.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers (Automattic, Google, Meta) may process data in the United States. Such transfers are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which these providers are certified, or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission.

Third-party content

The website may display YouTube videos and Spotify players. YouTube videos are loaded only when you press “play”, in privacy-enhanced mode; Spotify players are loaded only after you consent to cookies. Links to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and other platforms lead to external websites, which are subject to their own privacy policies.

Cookies

For information about cookies and to change your choices at any time, see the Cookie policy (link in the website footer, “Cookie preferences”).

Your rights

At any time you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise your rights, write to giulio.larovere@gmail.com.

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country.
